A very interesting combination of glass, this stained glass box features two stripes of a wine color specialty glass with white "cats paws" paired with triangles of taupe gray. Two square bevels complete the lid, one acting as a handle.
The box is created in the copper foil method of stained glass construction. The lid is held in place by an invisible hinge and length of steel chain. The sides of the box are clear bevels and the base is mirror which reflects light through the lid. Rubber bump-ons are affixed to the underside to keep the box from sliding on your table top. The solder seams are left in their natural silvery tone and polished to a shine.
