I am primarily interested in off-loom bead weaving techniques, using needle and thread to construct each piece.
Working with seed beads in various sizes, shaped glass beads, and crystals, I find turning tiny bits of glass into wearable beaded fabric to be endlessly fascinating. I produce beadwork that is eclectic in style, ranging from romantic to contemporary geometric.
With each new piece, I explore form and color. I find inspiration in ancient art of the Mediterranean as well as shapes and colors in everyday objects; sometimes the beads just take me where they want to go.
