Spring beckons with a walk in a peaceful bluebell woods. Many shades of blue, green and brown wool were layered to create an impressionistic wool painting. Framed in a rich chestnut brown (13x16) it is ready to hang with dust cover and picture wire.
Needle felting is a totally dry process in which loose, dyed wool fibers are repeatedly stabbed into a background using special small barbed needles. The constant movement tangles the fibers firmly into position. Framed without glass to enhance the texture, it requires no special care -- simply an occasional flick of a microfiber duster.
