Blackberry Harvest. A tiny harvest mouse reaches for some ripe blackberries. Many colors of tan, gold, blue and purple are blended and needled onto a background of 100% wool felt. It is framed in dark brown to 10x10, it is ready to hang with dustcover and picture wire.
Needle felting is a totally dry process in which loose, dyed wool fibers are repeatedly stabbed into a background using special small barbed needles. The constant movement tangles the fibers firmly into position. Framed without glass to enhance the texture, it requires no special care -- simply an occasional flick of a microfiber duster.
