Powder-coated steel, about 1/4" diameter

Byzantine weave is also known as "idiot's delight," due to its difficulty. I sometimes joke that it gets its name from the fact that if you don't feel like an idiot when you've finished it, there's something wrong in what you did.
This one is done in powder-coated steel, which is a devilishly hard metal to work in. This is the only one I've made in it, and the only one I intend to.
However, this one turned out beautifully - it's got a nice weight to it that is very comfortable to wear, and the subtle rose-pink color is nicely offset by the black. Clasp is sterling silver.
