These glass coasters are made by first fusing the glass, then adhering a cut patterns to the bottom surface, followed by a sandblast of the pattern into the glass. The pattern is then discolored with a special oil paint, gold leafed and sealed, after which a cork layer is added for stability of the coaster. Top is food-safe but plate should not be submerged in water. Hand-wipe preferred for cleaning. Not suitable for use in oven or microwave..
