A dramatic combination of black and white stained glass plus white glass kiln formed nuggets combine in geometric square and circle shapes to form the lid of this lovely stained glass trinket box. A great birthday or housewarming gift!
The lid combines solid black glass, wispy white and a clear glass with black and white fused stringers with solid white glass nuggets. The sides are clear bevel glass and the base is formed with mirror, reflecting light through the lid. The box measures 4" x 3" x 1.5". The lid is held in place by an invisible hinge. Decorative chain prevents it from falling backwards. Clear rubber bumps are adhered to the underside to prevent the box from sliding on your table top.
Created using the copper foil method of stained glass construction. The solder on this box is left in its natural silvery tone and polished to a shine.
